WhatsApp users need to watch out about a new dangerous phone virus that's being circulated through the messaging application. it's been reported that two malicious virus files are being circulated through WhatsApp messages that can hack personal details of the user within the phone.
Security agencies have alerted defence and security personnel against the malicious activity of a virus, falsely bearing the name of elite organisations like NDA and NIA, that will breach and hack into their personal information and banking data. A consultative issued to the defence and security institutions states that the two notorious virus file are circulating over instant messaging application WhatsApp and are capable to sneak into personal details of the user, particularly the men in uniform.
Once the user clicks on the files, personal information like bank details in the phone become vulnerable of being exploited.

The two virus files are "NDA-ranked-8th-toughest-College-in-the-world-to-get-into.xls" and "NIA-selection-order-.xls". The report said that the virus files largely bear the format of MS excel, but it are often in MS Word or PDF format as well.
