Apple iOS 10.3.1 Update with Bug Fixes and Security Improvements Now Available for Download









Apple recently released iOS 10.3 update for iPhone devices. After iOS 10.3, the next version - iOS 10.3.1 update is also here.  Apple has started rolling out iOS 10.3.1 update for the iPhone, iPod and iPad users. 
Although, the iOS update is currently available for a very selective iPhone, iPod and iPad users and models.


The new update is available solely to iPhone 5, iPad 4th gen and iPod touch 6th gen and also the later devices of these. which implies, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus users will be eligible for the new update and receives many advancements, bug fixes, security enhancements and lots more.




The key highlight of the iOS 10.3.1 is that it brings back the old 32-bit device support to iPhone 5. Well, just to recall, iOS 10.3 update did not support 32-bit device support. 



The iOS update also comes with a fix or solution for a Wi-Fi vulnerability that reportedly affected the iPhone five, iPhone 5C and other devices. So, if you're an Apple users, and one of the above-named devices, upgrade your device to the latest iOS version now.









How to download and install the new iOS update

1. To download and install it directly on your iOS device, go to Settings > General > Software Update, and tap Download and Install.


2. When the download is complete, tap Install and tap Agree when Apple shows you its Terms and Conditions. Your device will the restart and install the update.


3. To download iOS 10 via iTunes, first install iTunes, open it, and then connect your iOS device to your PC or Mac.


4. In iTunes select your device's icon on the top bar, click the Summary tab and then click Check for update.


5. Click Download and update. At this point, you should follow the simple on-screen instructions to install iOS 10.


Keep in mind that you have a steady internet access and enough battery life to sustain your phone all through the update.
