BlackBerry Mercury due for Release this February

BB Mercury

Apparently, We currently know the date and time when BlackBerry is going to introduce the BlackBerry Mercury, according to a teaser that allegedly came from the company. Actually, the teaser itself looks legit particularly because the BlackBerry Mercury name was not mentioned on it.

While everybody has referred to as the phone by that name, even BlackBerry, it is just a code name. The real name for the device should be announced when the phone becomes official.

So when can that be? The teaser shows that the last in-house phone to be designed by BlackBerry can see the sunlight of day on February 25th, 2017. Mark the time, which is 7pm in Barcelona and 1pm in the afternoon of the same day in New York City.

The rumored specs for the Mercury embody a 4.5-inch display with a 4:3 aspect ratio. Powering the phone is the Snapdragon 625 chipset carrying an octal-core C.P.U., and the

Adreno 506 GPU. 3GB of RAM is inside, and keeping the lights on is a 3400mAh battery. The phone is rumored to feature an 18MP rear-facing camera and an 8MP front-facing snapper using the same sensors utilized by the Google pixel and Google pixel XL.

A physical QWERTY keyboard will be found under the display, with a fingerprint scanner embedded ingeniously in the space bar. And a Type-C USB port in on board.

Other necessary information, such as pricing and accessibility, will be down on February
